    Hi guys, I’m just wondering if you can let me know how to get the google map marker to display?
    The site address is http://frp.digitaloutlaw.com.au

    Also wondering if you can let me know how to get rid of the dates for the portfolio items. I’m assuming the layout is dependent on the dates (most current to oldest) as to how they display on the home page. Is there a way to choose what item I want displayed where?

    Thanks in advance for your help.

    regards
    Jamie

    Hi Jamie,

    Thanks for writing in! If you are using the Google Map element then make sure to place correct latitude and longitude values for the Map marker as well.

    And I don’t see dates on portfolio items. Which date you are referring?

    Thanks for getting back to me, the latitude and longitude are correct as the map displays how I want but there is no marker to indicate the position of the business – I just need to know how to get the marker to show?

    And the dates show on the portfolio items on the home page (see screen shot), I just need to get rid of them from here.

    Thanks
    Jamie

    Hi Jamie,

    Thanks for writing back. You need to place the latitude and longitude value for Map market separately. If you think you did it but still not showing, you can share your login credentials in a private reply so that we can have a look.

    And to hide date from the Portfolio items, you can add this under Custom > CSS in the Customizer.

    .x-portfolio .x-recent-posts-date {
    	display: none;
    }

    Cheers!

    Hi Jamie,

    Please try the values -37.524376, 143.844059 for the Latitude and Longitude settings in the map and marker fields.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks Jade,
    I didn’t realise the map marker latitude and longitude were wrong, I must not have saved before I got out!

    Thanks again.

    regards
    Jamie
