Hi, my customer’s website has a facebook page and I want to track the location (example google, facebook or whatever) from where the users come and how many people that visit the site buy something in the shop (conversion rate). I know that you include google analytics as plugin, but I am no expert in google analytics, so I will inform myself extensively to understand how it works, but I would like to know if is it possible and how to implement this thing.

Second question is: do I need social login to track people that come to the site from facebook (I mean people like the ones who click on a link from the fb page that points to the site)?

    Thank you!

    Hi there,

Thanks for writing in! Once you setup google analytics by adding the code into your site, you can then login to your Google Analytics dashboard to check different reports. Basically you can see traffic sources that drives traffic into your website. Please refer to the following resource for more information (https://megalytic.com/blog/tracking-facebook-users-with-google-analytics).

As to your second question, you don’t need social login for this.

    Thanks!

thank you! another question: I have 2 versions of my website: .com and .it. In analytics I told him to monitor the .it and I do not know how to monitor the .com. Do I need a separate google account (this is actually the webmaster account for both sites) or is it doable through my account? If yes, how? Thanks!

    Hi There,

    You’re welcome!
We can monitor multiple domain in one account. Please check this google resource regarding Tracking Multiple Domains – Web Tracking:https://developers.google.com/analytics/devguides/collection/gajs/gaTrackingSite#introduction

    Hope this helps.
