They are definitely appearing scrambled on android devices, lots of complaints.

Thanks for writing back!
I have checked your site again and it seems you have added those characters directly in to the page. When you insert these characters directly, they sometimes may not work on all devices depending on the browser support.
Please try using their HTML unicode representation instead. So for instance:
Unicode for © would be: & copy; (no space in between ‘&’ and the ‘copy;’)
Unicode for † would be: & #8224; (no space in between ‘&’ and the ‘8224;’).Thank you!
