bielensteinParticipantDear all,
I am currently experiencing an interesting issue with German umlauts that I use within custom headlines:
In custom headlines WITH accents uppercase umlauts are NOT displayed (more precise: they are replayed by the respective “normal” characters – see attached screenshot), while in custom headlines WITHOUT accents everything works as expected. Is that possibly a bug within X Theme? If so: Can you suggest a feasible workaround?
Thanks a lot in advance & best regards,

RupokMemberHi there,
Looks like it’s showing on my end – http://prntscr.com/egkexg
Can you check and confirm?
Thanks!

bielensteinParticipantHi Rupok,
Thanks a lot for checking!
Well, when I am verifying the specified website on my computer (MacOS & Safari, MacOS & Chrome) the headlines look exactly as in the attached screenshots (i.e. no dots over the uppercase umlauts when accents are switched on) (and a friend of mine using a Notebook with Windows 10 & Edge got the same result).
But when I use browserling.com, a tool to check browser compatibilities, I get the result showing up in your screenshot (which is the desired one). So, under certain conditions the uppercase umlauts are displayed correctly…
So, do you have any idea how I can resolve this? Otherwise I need to omit the accents…
Thanks a lot,

ChristianModeratorPlease add the code below in your Appearance > Customize > Custom > Global CSS
.h-custom-headline.accent { line-height: 1.4em; }Thanks.
