COURSPARTICULIERSParticipantHello
My website is dedicated to French people and I would like everything to be written in French. I don’t understand why some mentions are in English and others are in French on some pages.
Here is an example : http://www.coursanglaisnantes.fr/topics/category/vocabulaire-anglais/
Everything is in French in the right column but the headline is in English.I have found the following explanation https://community.theme.co/kb/translation/ but I would prefer to only translate a few mentions manually instead of translating all of the possibilities suggested in the x.pot file.
Thank you for you help 🙂

ChristopherModeratorHi there,
Please copy _landmark-header.php from framework/views/integrity and put it in the same path inside child theme. Open this file and find following code around line 35 and translate string :
$subtitle = ( $meta['archive-subtitle'] != '' ) ? $meta['archive-subtitle'] : __( "Below you'll find a list of all posts that have been categorized as ", '__x__' ) . '<strong>“' . single_cat_title( '', false ) . '”</strong>';Please add Archive title to archive page to display it instead of Category Archive.
Hope it helps.

COURSPARTICULIERSParticipantHi
I don’t know much about the creation of websites and I didn’t install any child theme.
I have the latest version of WordPress and of the X theme. Can you tell me where I can download a child theme?
Also will I lose all of the changes I have made on my website http://www.coursanglaisnantes.fr ?
Thank youMarch 18, 2017 at 8:16 pm #1412440
Rue NelModeratorHello There,
Thanks for updating in! The child theme is a must since you only want to translate only a handful of keywords. What you are trying to accomplish requires a template customization, we would like to suggest that you use a child theme. This allows you to make code changes that won’t be overwritten when an X update is released. After your child theme is setup, please review how we recommend making template changes in Customization Best Practices.
