Hi there,
How can i make my footer menu links open up in a new window?
I have three links that link to external websites in my footer menu: “Client Login”, “Employee Login” and “Homeowner’s Manual”.My url is http://162.253.32.77/~rh3client/
Using WordPress 3.9.2, X – Child Theme: Integrity LightVersion: 1.0.0 and X-Shortcodes Version 2.3.4.
I know I have to update my theme and the shortcodes – I will do so soon!Thank you,

At first please go to Dashboard > Menu, now edit the Footer Menu & check the box of Open link in a new window/tab for each time there.

On my end it does not give me that option. I just updated my theme and wordpress to the latest version, so I am not sure why that window does not look like yours.
Is there another way to make it open in a new window?Thank you,

When you go inside the WP Menus page (Appearance -> Menus) click on the “Screen Options” on the top right hand side of the page. Then select/check “Link Target“.
Now select a Menu and you should see that option.
Hope that helps
