    Hello

    Could you help me with a footer issue? I would like to style my footer with a grey background, but when I use this code, it turns the whole page grey

    x-colophon.top {
border-top: 1px solid #000;
   margin-top: 35px;
  padding: 3% 3% 5% 3%;
  background-color:grey;
}

    Hi There,

    Have you done some customizations to your template files?

    If Not, you could try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.
