Hi,
I haven’t made modifications on my website lately, and today when I went on it, the font size had changed on the desktop version (the mobile version is fine).
I’m sure this has to do with some customm CSS coding I’ve used, but I don’t understand why there suddenly is a problem.
Could you help me out? Thanks

Kindly provide us with your domain name as well so we can check it.
Thank you.

This is how it appears (see image). The blue bar text is completely out of place.
November 26, 2016 at 6:03 am #1271422And the zoom is normal (100%).
November 26, 2016 at 3:21 pm #1271653Hi there,
Your screen width is 1366px, the same on my laptop. But it looks okay in chrome on my end. It looks bigger on your screenshot and all I could think of is it’s zoomed. Could you try pressing CTRL + 0 ?
Thanks!
November 29, 2016 at 7:18 am #1274596Thanks, there’s no zoom but I’m checking now with other people to see if they have the issue too, will get back to you if they do.

December 2, 2016 at 8:12 am #1278777Hi, I still have the problem. The font and size of headers are incorrect (text body is correct). I have managed to reduce font size for desktop, as a temporary measure, so that the text at least fits the screen. But it is possible that the problem only comes from the font (font change can make a text go oversize because of letter shape and spacing).
I have the problem on different browsers and desktop PC or Macs. The only place where the font and size are correct are on my own Android (on other peoples’ Android, the problem remains, which is really weird).
Screenshot of my Android attached: this is the font that should appear on all platforms. It is the same as what you showed me in the screenshot you sent me in this thread. It is also the original one from the X template that I chose for my website.
===> I just don’t know what the name of that font was, if you could help me find the name that might solve everything or a big part of the problem. <===
As you can see, the font on my mobile phone screenshot is different than the one I sent you in my previous screenshot. The issue happens for the headers in the blue bars (H2, I believe), and for the “Guia paso a paso” headers (H4, I believe).
I’ve looked into my custom CSS with a friend who is a web developer and he couldn’t find any font change coding. We tried changing the header fonts from the Customizer and it changes differently on mobile and on desktop.
There is a good chance that the issue comes from the theme itself because I didn’t have the issue and it suddenly appeared without me making changes on the website. It also appeared on another website I created with the same template + custom CSS code (www.singandplay.fr, screenshot attached). I duplicated the layout, so the properties are the same as clasesdeguitarramadrid.net.
Thanks in advance for your help!
December 2, 2016 at 4:04 pm #1279249Hi there,
What device you’re testing it on? It’s okay on my device, plus, it uses responsive text which could be affected by javascript error caused bu this content
<script>renderEGTICSeal("2016");</script>
Please remove it, other than that font looks okay even without your added fix.
Thanks!
December 2, 2016 at 4:51 pm #1279291Where can I find this “<script>renderEGTICSeal(“2016″);</script>” content to remove? I’ve looked for it but couldn’t find it. The only similar thing I’ve found is a custom css “.seal somethingwhateveritwas” and I’ve removed it, but the problem remains.
This (attached) is what I have so far on my ASUS laptop, after reducing font size (I’ll have to put the font size back to its original size, because now the second and third blue bar headings are way too small. But at least everything fits the screen on a desktop computer). As you can see, the font is wrong.
The other devices I’ve tried on were my friend’s Mac and two of my friends’ mobile phones (one Samsung, and the other one can’t remember).

I spent 3h working on the problem with a friend who is a professional web developer. He created a new custom class for my headers and we managed to get things displaying “more or less correctly” for the moment.
Some things don’t make sense at all: things display correctly when he is connected to my wp-admin (with access to the Customizer and Cornerstone), we modify things in the editor and they show okay, but when we save our changes, we cannot see them in production.
We commented the <script>renderEGTICSeal(“2016”);</script> (in order to deactivate it) but the problem remained.
According to my friend, the root of the problem comes from a font error that appears in the console (see photo in attachment). Google doesn’t let me use the font.
This surely comes from a problem with the theme, as it happened suddenly (without me changing anything) on both of my websites that use this template.I really need this to be solved urgently as it has been a week and I had 0 prospect this week (I usually have up to 7 a week, and I have therefore undergone a potential revenue loss of € 12,000, which is massive at this stage for my business).
I do not understand many of the instructions you are giving me, and as I said I believe there is an error coming from the theme, which I am unable to solve. Could you please connect to my website with the credentials provided in this thread and try to solve the issue?
Thank you very much in advance,
Matthieu -
