Hello: I’m have X-Theme 4.6.4 installed and I cannot get font-awesome to display. I get the following errors on my website:

Failed to decode downloaded font: https://arthritis.alotabouthealth.com/wp-content/themes/x/framework/fonts/font_awesome/font-awesome.eot?v=4.2.0

OTS parsing error: invalid version tag

When I check the directory, the files are definitely there. Thoughts?

Thanks for writing in! The latest version of FontAwesome that is comes with the latest X(4.6.4) is FontAwesome v4.6.3. That could be a plugin conflict.

Please do a testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

Hi There,

Did you just updated to the latest version of X? The font named without the -webfont suffix is for the old X. To make sure to remove all the old x|theme residue (not only the old fontAwesome). Please delete your current x|theme and re-upload a latest version, do not just overwrite file because that is where the issue happen, it does not overwrite a file if its a different filename or in different directory. Do this via FTP or cPanel so no settings will be change. And make a backup too, just in case.
