Rob HParticipantHello,
This is my third site I’ve built using X but I’ve hit a wall with this question and searching the forums hasn’t gotten me far. I’m using the current version of X (just downloaded today) and using Integrity 8 as my starting point for this site. Here is the link to the (ugly and in-development) version of the site as it currently stands: http://50.87.248.220/~cocpwcom/The layout has a fixed left column with a menu in it. Any submenu-items in this menu appear as flyouts to the right on hover. It’s the display of the submenu items I’d like to change:
How do I get them to display not as a flyout to the right, but instead showing up inline in the menu, underneath the parent item? (And not on hover, but on click)
An example of what I’d like is what you see on this X-powered site in its left menu (“Categories”, but it’s a WordPress menu): http://rmsbike.com/all-bikes/fat-bike/ascardia/
Notice that clicking a parent item causes the menu to expand and the child items appear inline under the parent. How do I get that???April 20, 2016 at 9:54 am #891908
Paul RModeratorHi Rob,
Thanks for writing in! Regretfully this isn’t a feature offered by X. It could be possible with custom development, but this would be outside the scope of support we can offer. You may wish to consult a developer to assist you with this. X is quite extensible with child themes, so there are plenty of possibilities. Thanks for understanding. Take care!
