    Hello,

I’ve updated the X theme along with Cornerstone, but when trying to use the menu items “Cornerstone” or “Addons” in the admin the site gives “Fatal error: Function name must be a string in /var/www/u0109464/data/www/blaginform.ru/wp-content/plugins/cornerstone/includes/classes/admin/class-admin.php on line 72”

    What can be the reason?

My credentials are in the next message.

    Thanks in advance for help!

    Hey there,

I’m sorry you’re experiencing this on your site. We’ve identified this an an issue with older unsupported versions of PHP. We’re working on a fix that will relieve the error, but in the meantime would recommend trying to update PHP. You can find out more info about this here:

    Thanks!

I changed the version to PHP 5.6. Will that be enough or shall I upgrade it to 7.0?

The upgrade solved the issue, by the way.

Nope, too many mistakes with PHP 7.0, PHP 5.6 will have to do.

Thanks again for your reply, we may close the topic.

Sounds good! Depending on the plugins you have active, there may be warnings and notices with PHP7, but PHP 5.6 works great.
