DrewParticipantHi there.
After the recent X Theme update I’ve encountered some odd behaviour with the fade effect on my columns. This is most obvious when viewing my sites on the ‘mobile’ size screen. Normally when scrolling down, each column would activate the fade effect when coming in to view, but now I am finding that ALL columns fade in at once when the ‘row’ becomes visible.
For example, a three column row will become single file on a smartphone and each column would fade in separately as you scrolled. This gave a pleasant scrolling feel to a site which made it more interesting to look at. When scrolling now, column 1 fades in but 2 and 3 are already visible as you scroll further down since they all fade in at the same time.
I have encountered this on both my websites since updating the theme and I’m wondering if anything can be done to fix the issue. I got great feedback on the fade effects on the websites prior to the update.
My sites are: Reboot Designs / Reboot Repairs
Both Running WordPress 4.4.2, X 4.4.1 and Cornerstone 1.2.3
Any help would be appreciated.

FriechModeratorHi There,
Thanks for writing in! You could try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.
If this does not work, please provide us login credentials in private reply so we can take a closer look.
Cheers!

JackKeymasterHi there Drew,
Thanks for writing back. Do you recall which version of X you was using when this working fine?
As a workaround while we hunt down that issue with you, would it work by setting a time delay on the animation (screenshot attached).
Thank you!

DrewParticipantHi Jack.
I’m pretty certain the the version of X that it was running correctly on was 4.4.0. If not it may have been the version before that. I only noticed not too long ago so it was definitely a recent version.
The screenshot you sent me is for changing the animation settings for icons in the ‘feature list’ and not the fade effect of a column. I can change it for you but I am unsure how this well help fix the issue with columns that do not contain a feature list.
Thanks.

There is a recent version available, please check this https://theme.co/changelog/. Latest is 4.4.2
Please update your copy then clear its cache, then let us know if you’re still getting the same issue.

DrewParticipantHello Rad.
Thanks for letting me know about the update. I have just installed the latest version and cleared the cache but I am still encountering the problem on both sites.
Thank you.

RadModeratorHi Drew,
Confirmed that on my end and on my own installation, I’ll just forward this to our developer.
Thanks!

DrewParticipantHello again Rad (sorry for the wait in my response, I get the weekends off).
Glad it’s not just an issue with my installations and hopefully a future update will correct it. Thanks to everyone that tried to help me. It was much appreciated.
