mhallettParticipantWhen I share a blog the picture that shows up is “Get it on Goolge” I have a featured image on my blog and have enabled
open graph in the customizing. I debugged facebook. I can not figure out how to get my feature picture to post on facebook.March 25, 2016 at 12:18 am #851997
Paul RModeratorHi,
You can try this third party plugin to be able to control the title, description and image for facebook.
Yoast SEO – Advanced SEO with real-time guidance and built-in AI
See screenshot – http://screencast.com/t/iN5KVJ9nU
Make sure to disable open graph when using this plugin.
Thanks

mhallettParticipantYes, I will try that thank you. I noticed that not all my blogs come across that way. Some post with the correct picture. Also my client would like to be able to post all the social medias separately. Is there a way of doing this without having to use the share button?

Paul RModeratorHi,
Regretfully, at this time I am not entirely certain what it is you would like to accomplish based on the information given in your post. If you wouldn’t mind providing us with a little more clarification on what it is you’re wanting to do (a link to a similar example site would be very helpful, or perhaps some screenshots), we’ll be happy to provide you with a response once we have a better understanding of the situation.

Rue NelModeratorHello There,
Thanks for providing the screenshot. Since you have installed a caching plugin WordFence, please clear your plugin cache before testing your site. This can cause the changes to not take place on the front end. It will eventually show up when the cache regenerates, but it’s not ideal if you’re looking to see your changes immediately. Caching plugins are best to turn on only when you’ve finished building the site.
Please let us know if this works out for you.

mhallettParticipantIt’s working great now. Thank you so much.

mhallettParticipantOk, now I have tried everything and can not get “Read More” on my posts. I have been adding them as a button but would like it to be attached to the post itself. Log in to follow.

RadModeratorHi there,
Recent posts element doesn’t have any read more functionality. If you like, you can create recent posts like entries using essential grid and replacing your standard recent posts.
Cheers!
