    Hi,
I have FB comments installed on my website, see http://bookspecials.nl/2015/05/rolstoelmeerdaagse-deurne-enthousiast/
    My FB page is https://www.facebook.com/bookspecials

It works well from website to FB. These are shown on FB. But I have 2 problems:
    1. It does not work backwards.. comments and shares done on FB are not shown on my website.
    2. Every share of my blogpost creates a new FB post, which is totally independent of previous shares and likes. This way everything is scattered over FB and nowhere all comments, likes and shares are found together.

Can I fix this? Are you able to fix this?
    Thank you so much,

    Matt

    Hello Matt,

    Thanks for writing in!

I think you want to display posts made on your Facebook page to your website also. In that case you can use Facebook page plugin. In Facebook developer sections page plugin page, click on Show page posts.

Kindly let us know if that’s what you looking for.

    Thanks.

Hi! Thanks for answering. Unfortunately this is not what I intend.

I use your FB comments plugin instead of the WP comments. However according to FB, the reactions (comments) given om FB should then also be shown again back on my website. See this link: https://developers.facebook.com/products/social-plugins/comments

    “Comment Mirroring
With Comment Mirroring, people can participate in a single conversation, whether comments come from your web page or your Facebook Page. When you share a link from your website to your Facebook page, comments on your webpage will also appear as comments on your Facebook post and vice versa.”

The vice versa does not work. Hope this is more clear now.

    Hi there,

Isn’t it comment mirroring is auto posting to your wall? I just did test your facebook comment and get the result I’m expecting. Unless you’re referring to different thing, and it’s best to show it in video/screen recording 🙂

    Thanks!

OK, maybe you can have a look at this video.
You can see there is only 1 comment visible on my website, however there are so many more on Facebook.

    Hi there,

Pages/links can be shared multiple times, but it doesn’t mean it will contains same set of comments. Facebook comment embed is only applicable for that particular page/link and will not reflect on other shared page/link. My understanding on comment mirroring is when someoned posted a comment or feedback, it will be displayed on the wall.

Since this is just embed code integrated as extension, we don’t have really control over it. How about contacting facebook developer? As this happens on their server internally, and just displayed on the site through embed.

    Thanks for understanding.
