Hi, I seem to be having same problem as this thread https://community.theme.co/forums/topic/x-facebook-comment-old-data/
The Facebook comments would not show up at https://developers.facebook.com/tools/comments so I deactivated Facebook comments plugin and deleted it and reinstalled and activated it again. Then, I put in a new app id and secret key but the old comments still show up even after clearing and purging caches.
Also, I have added myself as a moderator and to get notifications and when I add a new comment it does appear on my website but no notification at Facebook or in the moderator page at https://developers.facebook.com/tools/comments

I went to bed and this morning when I got up it’s working just fine. I guess it was just a delay in processing on Facebook’s end. Thank you for looking into it and sorry to have troubled you.
