    Hi.

I have two identical sites,, same pages same posts , everything same.. I just made a backup of the site and put backup on another hosting service.

There have been made some minor changes to pages in the original site..
So im trying to export those pages and import them to the new site.

But when I try to use the wordpress builtin exporter/importer.
    It doesnt quite work..

The pages are created,,, well first I need to delete them on the new site , and then import the xml file.
in the backend the cornerstone is empty, has nothing to display
on the frontend I just see shortcodes all over the page,,

Somehow it doesnt map correctly in the database ..

So I ask you , what is the correct way of exporting pages made with cornerstone (Only pages)
and import them on another site ?

    Hi there,

Please export and save the page template from site 1 and import it to a new page in site 2, please check “Working with Templates” section at https://community.theme.co/kb/cornerstone-interface-layout/

    Hope it helps.

That would work , but what if I have hundreds of pages ?

That would be too time consuming

    Hi there,

Thanks for updating the thread! Unfortunately, there is no built in way to sync the two sites. The only other option you have is to delete you second site, and redeploy a new backup of the first site.

    Hope this helps – thanks!

    As I expected …
    Thanks for the support.

How do I ask for this feature in the next updates ?

We certainly appreciate the feedback! This is something we can add to our list of feature requests. This way it can be taken into consideration for future development. All of these items are discussed with our team internally and prioritized based on the amount of interest a particular feature might receive. Thanks!
