After the update, I found out that in many of the variation products (NOT IN ALL), the “Expand” in the tab “Variation” doesn’t work in the backend product editor. So, I can’t see the variations fully expanding or make any change there. BUT, when I disable the plugin cornerstone, the “Expand” works properly again.
Also, everything seems to work properly, when I disable the X-theme too and make tests e.g. with the Storefront.
After several tests that I’ ve made, I think that a cornerstone’s script causes that malfunction in some variation products. Could you please solve this problem and help me?

Thanks for writing in and the very detailed post information. I have did further investigation and this is what I found out. You must select a variation first before you can expand or collapse the item. I have tested over and over clicking on the expand link without adding any variation and nothing happens. I did select a variation and then I could able to expand it. It is evident in my screenshot as shown below:
Hope this helps explain the issue.
August 11, 2016 at 2:52 am #1126872Hello again and thanks for you time, but it seems that you haven’t understand the problem. The solution that you suggest me in your previous message it’s not right, because when we do this, the Variations have lost their price, picture, SKU etc. I’ ll try to explain the problem with more details.
The e-shop works and we already have variable products. All variations in any product have their own photo, SKU, price … etc. We entered all these variations without problems, we made changes if we needed to and the e-shop worked excellent. I could see variations at once every time I chose the tab Variations in the backend. The “Expand” option worked, also, properly. This is the previous status and before the update (X-theme & cornerstone).
The new status, after the update (X-theme & cornerstone) is this:
All variable products have their variations and I can see and choose them in the frontend. BUT in many of them we can’t see the Variations in the tab Variations in the backend AND the “Expand” Option doesn’t work. All these problems happen if cornerstone plugin is enabled. When I disable cornerstone plugin everything work excellent again. Please do the same. At first, try to see the following products (with cornerstone enabled). You’ ll find out that the Variations in Variations tab and the “Expand” option don’t work properly in the first two products, but works fine in the third.
After that… disable cornerstone plugin (You CAN DO this for a while. We don’t have problem with that) and try AGAIN . You will see that the problem doen’t exist. Please try in this product (IT HAS THE PROBLEM)

2. http://newman.com.gr/wp-admin/post.php?post=6323&action=edit&lang=elBUT in this product evenyting WORKS FINE even if we have cornerstone plugin enabled
3. http://newman.com.gr/wp-admin/post.php?post=5129&action=edit&lang=elSo, please consider the above, more detailed, facts and please look for a solution to the problem. I believe that Cornerstone plugin is causing the problem.
I’ m looking forward to hearing from you.
Thanks in advance
August 11, 2016 at 6:45 am #1127057Hey there,
Sorry for the confusion. I checked and confirmed the issue in your site.
I tried replicating this in my test site and this doesn’t happen so this might have something to do with transients. Please try to install and run Transient Cleaner (https://en-ca.wordpress.org/plugins/artiss-transient-cleaner/).
1. Install Transient Cleaner
2. Navigate Dashboard -> Tools -> Transients
3. Set Clear Expired Transients -> Enable
4. Select Run Now
5. Set Remove All Transients -> Enable
6. Set Remove All Transients -> Optimize Afterwards
7. Select Run Now
8. Recheck your Cornerstone for functionalityLet us know how it goes.
August 11, 2016 at 10:47 am #1127356Hello
We installed and run Transient Cleaner, but we faced the following issues – problems:
From step 1 to step 4 everything went right. BUT after we run steps 5,6,7 we lost prices from the variable products that have the initial problem. Variations of the variable product still had prices, but the variable product didn’t.
As you can understand, we lost our minds, but we managed to restore prices using an old tip that we know: We made mass updates in prices (we increased by 0,1 and then we decreased again by 0,1). After that, the prices were right again in every variable product.
The fact is that the initial problem remains if Cornerstone plugin is enabled: We can’t see and make changes in Variations (in many variable products) and the “Expand” option doesn’t work. This problem doesn’t exist when the Cornerstone is disabled.
Thank you for your time and we want you to know that we appreciate it. But, we begin to become dissatisfied with the product – template and we are thinking to leave the X-theme “family” if it is not stable in so important things as the prices, or the variations etc after an update in a new version.
Please look again if there is something else to fix, or to do.
Looking forward to hearing from you
Thanks
August 11, 2016 at 1:03 pm #1127531Hi there,
Sorry to hear that. Certainly it’s not usual and I know how you feel. I can’t replicate this on my end so can’t say it’s bug. But I’ll forward this to our developer for further investigation. All I can say we always work to improve the things to make it better for you and your feedback is very much important to us.
Have a nice day!
