    Hi…

    how can I exclude special pages/posts from the search results?
    (for example my mainpage)

    I found your code for excluding categories.

    Can you modify this to exclude pages/posts?

    You can use a plugin to handle that type of tasks. Could you please try the following (https://wordpress.org/plugins/search-exclude/).
