quintParticipantHello,
I have a page where I am placing some html content in the page’s content box. In TwentySixteen, this HTML renders properly (includes my script tag and loads my script as expected) . In Ethos, no matter what template I use, my HTML content for that page is non-existent.
I’ve copied a template file, modifying it with my HTML content; however, the modified template will not show in the page’s template dropdown field.
My two different attempts have failed. Could you provide direction on both approaches? Thanks.
P.S. I am using a child theme.

Nabeel AModeratorHi there,
Thanks for writing in! Regretfully, at this time I am not entirely certain what it is you would like to accomplish based on the information given in your post. If you wouldn’t mind providing us with a little more clarification on what it is you’re wanting to do (a link to a similar example site would be very helpful, or perhaps some screenshots), we’ll be happy to provide you with a response once we have a better understanding of the situation.

quintParticipantHello,
Thanks for replying. In the example shown in the attached screenshot, I have placed a div in the content box with the text, “Hello There!!!”. This displays properly in TwentySixteen, not in x-theme.
I also wanted to know how to add new and/or customize existing templates, knowing that I am using a child theme, so that I can pick them from the Template dropdown field.
P.S. I am using Ethos and please ignore the second zip file. It’s a duplicate.

quintParticipantI am working on a local environment. I cannot provide an url yet.
Also, how does providing an url, address my second question?
