    Hi,

We have created a few websites using this theme. However, the website did not passed the 508 compliant. See url here.

It listed 16 errors. One of the main goals we want to make sure the Social Media buttons on the top are accessible as well as Upcoming Events. How do I add an alternate text to each event on the main page?

    Your help is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,
    CSD Marketing

    Hi there,

Thanks for writing in! Can you confirm that you are fully updated? (Theme and Plugins)

You can find the latest version numbers here: (http://theme.co/changelog/) Then you can compare them to what’s installed on your site.

If you find anything to be out of date, you can review our update guide.

    Hello There,

Thanks for updating in! I have checked the page and it seems that these errors were coming from the grid items. Adding an alternate text to each event on the main page would mean editing the skin being used for the grid. To know more how you can edit the grid skin, please check this documentation: http://theme-one.com/docs/the-grid/#!/edit_skin

    Hope this helps,

I have read through the documentation over Theme One, but I don’t see a way to insert alternate text for each event… any tips here?

    Hello There,

Thanks for updating in! For adding some alternate text, you can use the custom meta. Please check this in the documentation right here: http://theme-one.com/docs/the-grid/#!/element_metadata

    Hope this helps.
