    I don’t know what happened. From one moment to the next, my post slider now takes EXACTLY 1 MINUTE to load after the rest of the page has loaded. It was working fine for the first day I worked on the site, but then this happened. I was tweaking some CSS code in the Custom CSS section when this happened. I tried clearing out all custom CSS codes but to no avail. This problem is only experienced in Safari, though (on OS X and iOS). Chrome and Firefox load up the entire page instantly. Any ideas? It’s so frustrating! I’ve tried deactivating plugins and even deleted and re-installed a fresh copy of X theme.

    Hey there,

    Please try clearing all caches including your browser cache or history then check again. If this doesn’t help, please give us access to your WordPress admin.

    Thanks.

    Hi Christian, thanks. After I posted this I did try that [(Safari>Develop>Empty Caches) and (Safari>Clear History) and the problem still persists. I will send my info in a separate private reply.

    Hello There,

    Thanks for providing the very detailed information. I have logged in to your site and found out that there is CORS (Cross-origin resource sharing) issue in your site.
    http://prntscr.com/ava9vr

    To know more about this, please check it out here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cross-origin_resource_sharing

    The source of this issue is the one you have inserted from the sidebar text widget:

    <p style="text-align: center;">
    <script src="//d215gpv2rm8rab.cloudfront.net/js/ian.js?ad_slot=3345Q&width=300&height=600"></script>
    </p>

    If you removed this line, your site will display properly in Safari. This only happens in Safari because Safari browser strictly imposes Same Origin Policy.

    Hope this helps.

    That sure enough was the problem! Thanks for looking into this. I’ll let the owner of the advertisement know we have a conflict.

    Thanks again!
