    Wordpress: v4.5.1
    X: v4.4.2
Stack: Ethos (using new child theme method not the legacy version)
    Cornerstone: v1.2.4

I am trying to set the sidebar to a fixed sidebar so that it doesn’t scroll with the page. See this page http://www.mpact-media.com/marketing-branding-technology-strategists/ (this page is only published so you can have access).

Upon searching the support forum I found John Ezra’s final response to https://community.theme.co/forums/topic/how-do-i-make-my-sidebar-sticky/ which resolved Missy’s request found on her site http://homeli.co.uk/.

I am trying to accomplish this too.

From forum page above Cornerstone | Settings | Custom CSS I inserted the given css
From forum page above using Cornerstone | Settings | Custom JS I inserted the given js
    It didn’t work.

How can I correct the ThemeCo code so that the desired behavior works appropriately.

If you need a login let me know I’ll be happy to provide it.

Thanks for your time and consideration,
    Tim

    Hi there Tim,

    Thanks for writing back!

I’ve just taken a look at this for you and it seems the custom code isn’t getting applied to the page.

Would you mind providing FTP details in a private reply please? I can then try applying this for you in a child theme.

    Thanks!

    Hi there,

I went ahead and applied the CSS and javascript with few modifications.

    Cheers!
