Hello,
I love the layout of ETHOS 1 as a blog, but not as my websites homepage. How can I accomplish this style as a blog layout?
It seems the only way to show blog posts with this style is to set the reading settings for front page to display my latest posts. Is there another way to have this layout without it being the front page? I want to have a blog tab on my site with the layout of ethos 1.

Thanks for posting in.
Below the menu of ETHOS 1 homepage, we do have slider. We can enable this slider on Appearance > Customize > ETHOS >Post Slider for Blog:Set to ON.Set Filterable Index to ON > Appearance > Customize > ETHOS > BLOG OPTIONS > Filterable Index: SET TO ON
We do have a sidebar. Go to Appearance > Customize > Layout and Design > Content Layout > Choose Content Left, Sidebar Right. To manage sidebar contents, go to Appearance > Widgets > Main Sidebar.
Then as you can see, on the blog index page, some featured is fullwidth, while on the other it show featured image on the left and excerpt on the right. If you want specific featured image to display fullwidth on blog index post, please edit the specific and check Ethos Post Settings > Check this Index Featured Post Layout.
That is the main setup for Ethos 1 BLOG. You may create a page name BLOG and then go to Settings > Reading > Front page displays: A static page (select below): Choose Blog page for POSTS PAGE and then another page as your FRONTPAGE.
Hope this helps.
