Hi there,
I made a website which has been stuck in development for a few months.
I am trying to create/save an Essential Grid. However, every time I click on the green save button when trying to save any progress I have made, the green button which says ‘Save Grid’ when clicked/hovered over says ‘Javascript Void(0)’ and therefore doesn’t save the grid at all.It was strangely working before when I last worked on this site
I have tested this on two different browsers today with no luck.
I have also updated the Essential Grid files to the latest version, still no luck. Please let me know what I can do. Because I can’t save the Essential Grid I havent been able to make one and probably no point in showing you the URL, but here it is just incase.
November 18, 2016 at 5:47 am #1262392I have also just tried updating the theme, and deactivating all plugins. Still no luck. Any help appreciated as I really need to work on this website and can’t imagine what the issue is.

March 17, 2017 at 6:40 am #1410916Hi there,
Sorry to open up this thread again, but I have created a new website and the same error is happening.
I have just downloaded the newest version of the X Theme from Themeforest, and this contains I assume the newest version of Essential Grid. When I create a new grid, and try to save it, I get a ‘Javascript (0)’ error message at the bottom, which means I cannot create a new project. Last time I had this issue, as the above thread details, the X Theme support staff kindly went into the site and fixed it for me – but this was over 4 months ago.
I wondered – how did you achieve this? Is this a common problem? How do I fix this myself?
I use Essential Grid a lot, and it is integral to my websites, so any help much appreciated.March 17, 2017 at 6:09 pm #1411567Hello There,

Any progress on this please? Many thanks.
March 22, 2017 at 2:50 pm #1416701Hi there,
The issue is related to “undefined” variable in javascript/URL. Cleared transient but no luck, would you mind providing your FTP login credentials as well?
Thanks!

Unfortunately, I cannot connect and the error is Connection refused by server. Although, I found out that others who report this says that this issue occur if they add Spinner on the GRID. Is it the same on your case? Please confirm.
March 24, 2017 at 9:05 am #1419009Hi there,
Thanks for getting back to me. I went into the new grid settings, and BEFORE I saved it I went straight to the spinner and selected ‘off’ – and then added the other elements before saving. This has allowed me to save. The button still shows ‘Javavoid0) when you hover over it, but the button to ‘save grid’ now works when clicked on.
Do you know when there will be an update to fix this with the plugin developer, as I assume if the spinner is set as DEFAULT this is going to be a problem for lots of people trying to use it?
Thanks for your help so far.
