Hi there!
I’m trying to build a kind of directory using the Essential Grid plugin. Basically, I published near 600 Essential Grid Custom Posts, using also Essential Grid Custom Categories for all of them. Then, I created a Grid with filters so the user of the web could easily navigate through them.
The thing is I cannot make the Grid to show all the source posts. I’ve selected all the categories listed, and added two different filters to the grid. The “Países” filter shows all countries but no items within most of them; the “Categorías” filter shows only one menu item of all seven.
Don’t know what’s happening. It may be that I’m using the filters options in the wrong way, or even wrongly selecting the source. I’m not sure, but I’ve tried almost all combinations and options and nothing seems to work.
The URL for an example of the grid is: http://www.sociologialatinoamericana2.ucr.ac.cr/2016/08/08/doctorado-honoris-causa-para-anibal-quijano/
I’ll give the credentials for the WP admin on a separate private reply.
Thanks so much in advance for your help! 🙂

You could try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time. If the issue still persists, let us know. We’d be happy to assist you with the solution.
Thanks for understanding!
August 10, 2016 at 1:30 am #1125070Alright, so I’ve done just what you told me to, deactivating and reactivating all third party plugins one by one to see if anything changed, but still not working.
Do you have any further ideas? Can you take a look by yourself to the plugin, the grid configs, and so on?
Again: thanks a lot for the quick and kind help you provide!
Cheers.
August 10, 2016 at 5:45 am #1125343BTW: my Essential Grid plugin could be having some problems; I noticed a while ago it also won’t show the grids in Cornerstone. Don’t know why…
Thanks again!
Cheers.
August 10, 2016 at 10:01 am #1125624Hello There,
I tried to login to check your settings. Unfortunately, I got the following error:Passwords have been disabled for this user. Please double check the credentials.
Regarding Essential Grid not showing in Cornerstone, it is a known bug. We’ve already forwarded this to our developer for investigation. Rest assured that we’re working on this. Also note that this doesn’t affect it’s display on the frontend.
August 10, 2016 at 12:39 pm #1125926Sorry about that! I’ve re-enabled the password login for that user; I forgot to keep that option enabled when installing the Clef plugin.
And thanks again for the following up on the Cornerstone compatibility issue. I’ll keep an eye on the updates when they come to see if the issue is fixed.
Cheers.
August 10, 2016 at 6:00 pm #1126291Hi there,
Under your grid setting, your Max Visible Rows is only equivalent to 20 rows. Which means, 1 column x 20 rows = 20 items. If you’ll change it to 4 columns, then it will be 4 x 20 which is 80 items.
Now, since you limit its rows, then you should also add pagination. That will have user to navigate to next page of 20 rows at a time. Pagination should be available along with filters.
Thanks!
August 10, 2016 at 7:24 pm #1126354Hey guys:
Amaaaaaazing! Thanks so, so much! I can’t believe I missed such small buy basic config detail! Sometimes you get overloaded with duty and miss evident things!
Works perfectly now! I need some customization on the filter buttons and so on, but I’ll start a new topic given that this issue is resolved.
Cheers, and thanks again!
