Rue NelModeratorHello There,
Thank you for providing the information. After some time looking for the cause of the issue, it turns out that you did not add any custom meta in each of your Ess Grid example post. Even if you already declare the meta in the global settings (Meta Data Handling), you still need to add the custom meta to each of the grid item coming from the source, whether posts, pages, or the ess. grid example posts.
Hope this explains it.

gunaParticipantI already added URL link on the custom meta to each grid, selected item skin editor, selected Link/SEO tag, and its still blank.
February 3, 2017 at 12:15 pm #1357031
gunaParticipantUnder item skin editor, Link/SEO, Link To > Meta, Meta Key > still blank.

gunaParticipantI also followed this instruction from other theme developer: https://www.themepunch.com/faq/hyperlinking-options/
The Meta Key in the Item Skin Editor is still blank.

Rue NelModeratorHello There,
Thanks for updating in! Since the meta key is still blank, to save you from trouble, just manually insert the meta key as shown below;

So I went ahead and added it already. Please check your grid now as it is now linking to the custom url.
Best Regards.

gunaParticipantBrilliant! Now icons are showing on each grid. Still, there are a couple of minor issues:
1. I selected a different icon and it still showing the default “+” icon. I cleared cookies and still won’t work
2. I selected “_blank” for link target and it still open as “_self”Please advise.
Thank you.
