Thanks for writing in!
Please always make sure that you are up to date. Most of the time, being out dated will result to incompatibility issues. You can check out our changelog for latest updates and know what has been added, removed or changed in the theme and Cornerstone. Thanks for understanding!
August 2, 2016 at 10:26 am #1113896I am up to date which I told you initially have you checked the website?
August 2, 2016 at 4:15 pm #1114477Hi There,
It seems the images are not in standard format on the front-end. Please purge your caching plugin and clear your CloudFlare cache.
Let us know how it goes.
Thanks.
August 2, 2016 at 4:24 pm #1114496Done that does not work. The images are normal images I don’t know what you mean by “not in standard format”
August 3, 2016 at 3:58 am #1115104I have added The Grid and it works perfectly. Clearly the problem is Essential Grid and not the images or anything else.

August 3, 2016 at 4:21 am #1115115Hi Jack,
It seems that your images have issues with lazy loading. Can you set Lazy Load Blurred Image to OFF. Then please do clear cache before checking again. Do let us know how this goes.

August 3, 2016 at 10:38 am #1115557Hi there,
It seems you are using multiple caching plugin. You could try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.
August 3, 2016 at 11:04 am #1115589Frankly whilst I understand that this is often a stock answer to a problem it is not practicable on an active website. From other answers in the forum there seems to be a problem with Essential Grid which I understand your developers are looking at.I have used The Grid and Envira Gallery with absolutely no problem so I will continue with them.
On previous support requests your colleagues have accessed my website with login details and sorted out the problem extremely well. I have had a number of suggestions about Essential Grid but it appears that my website has not been accessed to test out these suggestions prior to advising me.

Jack
August 3, 2016 at 1:57 pm #1115882Hi Jack,
If you explore the forum you will see most of the issues are related with plugin conflict and caching. Note that the integrated plugins (like The Grid, Essential Grid) are from third party developer but we have seamless integration with X. We bundle the unmodified version of them and can’t change any functionality of these plugins. If we really find any issue; we can forward to our developer so that they could assess and report to the plugin developer. But when something is working fine on our setup but not on your end; then apparently it’s particularly related with your setup and plugin conflict is the main cause that we noticed for most of the users.
Hope you understand.
Have a nice day!
August 3, 2016 at 2:44 pm #1115957Thanks I understand but as I said normally you have a look at my website and see what may have been causing the problem. You have managed to sort out all my problems before so I must admit to being a little disappointed by your reply. Nevertheless, I still think your support is second to none.
I will use the grid as it works fine.
Kind Regards
August 3, 2016 at 5:03 pm #1116145Hello Jack,
You’re welcome!
I tried to check again to further investigate but you’re using THE GRID plugin as stated on your reply.
Feel free to post in case you have other questions.
Cheers!
August 4, 2016 at 8:03 am #1117206Having checked as you suspected the problem is caching. I use WPRocket which the plugin developers also use on their site so it must be compatible. As soon as I de-activate it Essential Grid works but my Page speed is affected. Could you suggest a solution as I would obviously like to continue with Essential Grid. I have put a grid on http://www.protectiondogsuk.co.uk/puppies-for-sale/ but it only shows the black background and not the image itself until I de-activate WPRocket. You have my login for the website on previous replies inthis thread
