I am working with Essential Grid using the integrity stack with one page navigation.
Since essential grid links to posts, once you you click on any selection the menu no longer works because you are off the front page.
I saw that they offered this at code canyon: Essential Grid Title & Content Popup Add-on
I bought this, but I do not know how to install it. If I try to add it as a plug-in, it cannot find essential grid.
Please let me know if you have any suggestions.
Thanks
February 18, 2016 at 3:55 am #801413Hi Chris,
Thanks for writing in! It sounds like you might be having an issue with a third party plugin or script. Regretfully, we cannot provide support for third party plugins or scripts as our support policy in the sidebar states due to the fact that there is simply no way to account for all of the potential variables at play when using another developer’s plugin or script. Because of this, any questions you have regarding setup, integration, or troubleshooting any piece of functionality that is not native to X will need to be directed to the original developer.
Thank you for your understanding.
February 18, 2016 at 3:58 am #801417Yes, but you are offering Essential grid with theme X.
Is there another way to do this?
Essential Grid links the way they are, do not work with integrity or one page navigation.
Can you offer a solution so that I can have the content pop-up on the homepage? otherwise, this plug-in is useless.
February 18, 2016 at 4:20 am #801450Hi Chris,
This thread is related to a 3rd party add-on of Essential Grid, we cannot provide support for any 3rd party plugins as mentioned above.
In regard to Essential Grid, as its is a 3rd party plugin, regretfully, we have limited support for it that only covers its compatibility issues with X. So any question related to grids, skin styling or how the certain feature of the grid works, would be getting outside the support we can offer. You may refer to Essential Grid online documentation: http://essential.themepunch.com/documentation/
For more information, please refer to our knowledge base article on Essential Grid.
Thank you for understanding.
February 18, 2016 at 12:39 pm #802031this is about implementing the plug-in with theme x to get it to work.
can you offer some suggestions about how to accomplish what I am trying to do? If there is another way to do this, I am all ears.
I need an image to be able to open up content as a pop-up. It would seem to me that this would be a simple thing to do that many users would want. I can create a grid a number of different ways.
I found this: https://community.theme.co/forums/topic/how-to-create-a-pop-up-page/
how would this be done using an image? can I use a page or does it have to be a lightbox.
February 18, 2016 at 11:21 pm #802787Hi Chris,
You can achieve something similar to that using the exact same method we’ve provided in your shared thread. If you want to open a lightbox using image, you can use [image] shortcode and under its Href attribute, add the URL of page you want to open in a lightbox following the exact same method described in your shared thread.
Though, I’m not sure if its possible with Essential Grid as it uses its own approach of inserting images. You may review its documentation: http://essential.themepunch.com/documentation/
As for 3rd party plugins, we cannot provide any support for installation, integration, customization or compatibility support of 3rd party plugins or scripts as we do not support them.
Thank you!
