    Hi,
    I’m working at site http://laperugianascosta.it/
    I try to activate Essential Grid plugin but result this error:

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION in /home3/laperugi/public_html/wp-content/plugins/essential-grid/admin/includes/import.class.php on line 313

    I try to update PHP at 5.6 version but the problem persists.

    what should I do?

    Thanks

    Hey There,

    Thanks for writing in!

    The compatible Essential Grid is 2.0.9.1. Kindly walk-though the link to know about the version compatibility.

    Hi there,

    Installation might be corrupted, would you mind providing your FTP login credentials as well? I can find some details through that.

    Thanks!

    Hi there,

    Can’t login through your FTP, it says “Authentication failed”. Tried both FTP and SFTP and it’s not working.

    Please check or provide your panel’s login credentials where I can use a File manager.

    Thanks!

    Hi there,

    Your PHP version is old, please update it to 5.6 or greater. The error is originating here

    $i_nav_skin['css'] = preg_replace_callback('/\\\\u([0-9a-fA-F]{4})/', function ($match) {
    					return mb_convert_encoding(pack('H*', $match[1]), 'UTF-8', 'UCS-2BE');
    				}, $i_nav_skin['css']);

    Please check this http://stackoverflow.com/questions/23272625/php-5-2-17-preg-replace-callback-doesnt-work

    Thanks!
