    Hi my website is elastic-lounge.com

I am wondering if you can help me i am setting up a music agency webiste and after some trial and error i managed to set up seperate act pages using a page theme i created and saved. It seemed to be working well but i now have an issue. I want the essential grid i have on these pages (featured acts) link to the act page of the artist. I am unable to make this happen myseelf and after some research i am fearful the grid has to link to a post page rather than a page. Am i correct ?

    1. Can you link essential grid items to seperate pages and if so how do i do this i have follwedthe same steps as for posts but the link i add diesnt work ?

    2. If not and i have to used posts can i remove the date from the the post URL and just style the post into same as the pages i had before used saved page theme. ?

    3. Am i structuring my site in the most local way ?

Sorry if any of this is beyond the scope of your support and any help or advice gratefully recieved

    Tim

    Hi Tim,

    Thanks for posting in.

It’s probably just related to configuration. It should work on any post type (page, post, portfolio).

Would you mind providing us with login credentials so we can take a closer look? To do this, you can make a post with the following info:

    – Link to your site
    – WordPress Admin username / password

Don’t forget to select Set as private reply. This ensures your information is only visible to our staff.

    Thanks!

    Hello There,

Thanks updating in! You are on the right track. have to set the link to media and link to post is the way to link the grid item to the post. Since you are using a custom grid, you’ll have to manually edit one of the items and manually link it to your desired pages it needs to link to. Please see this screenshots:
