1. how do i ensure that the title fits directly in the middle of each box please in the essential grid, without changing how the hover looks? I have used the slide editor and read the documentation and am none the wiser.

2. how do i ensure a black transparent (0.50) colour over the image before the hover please?

If you scroll down to the 3rd section (which contains the essential grid) –
1- i would like the titles of each centred vertically
2- it is difficult to see the titles at the moment – how do we put a transparent colour over the top please?

Guys I would appreciate some help on this matter please. Stop directing me to the documentation – i have looked at it already.

1- The documentation does not explain how to make 2 layer, one on hover and one not on hover, centrally aligned vertically. You will see at – http://146test2.co.uk/acorn/ in the first essential grid on that page that the title is not vertically aligned. On hover the content is. But you cannot do both.

I have tried altering the position using the ‘absolute’ setting, and setting it to 50%, however this does not work. This is becoming very frustrating.

2- Furthermore – i need to know if we can apply a background to the front as well as the hover please.

It is a fairly reasonable request… it is to do with the correct lining up of things.
