Seeing this error code as of today (after updating to latest version of X). Running WP 4.4.2, X 4.4.1 with a child theme, Cornerstone 1.2.0.

    Website URL: http://www.allergyatlanta.com

[06-Apr-2016 00:54:38 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Cannot use object of type WP_Error as array in /home/xxxxx/public_html/wp-content/plugins/x-facebook-comments/functions/output.php on line 87

The error only displays when logged out, on a blog post page (not the blog page itself) and ONLY IN CHROME! Does not display in Safari or Firefox.

This is related to the ‘X โ€“ Facebook Comments’ plugin. Once I disabled that plugin, the errors stopped. Any idea of the cause? We don’t get a lot of comments, but I do like the functionality of the X FB comments plugin and would like to continue using it if possible.

While you’re in the site, can you tell me why I’m seeing the Cornerstone closing shortcode tag at the bottom of the home page? See attached screenshot. I’ve tried to track down the source, and I don’t see any unclosed tags in the code, so I’m baffled why it’s appearing.

    [/cs_content] is what’s appearing.

    Hi there,

    Thanks for writing back.

I’ve done some testing on a development environment with just X, Cornerstone and X – Facebook comments activated and can’t replicate the error on Chrome logged out on a single post page.

I see you have quite a lot of plugins activated and it’s possible one of these is conflicting with the Facebook plugin, can you try deactivating all plugins apart from Cornerstone and X – Facebook comments to see if this still happens? One of those could also be the cause of the closing shortcode tag in Cornerstone.

Make sure before doing the above, that you clear the cache, then deactivate the caching plugin and remove the define it adds to the wp-config.php and the code it adds to the .htaccess, caching plugins are one of the biggest causes of these types of issues.

If it still happens after the above please let us know and we’d be happy to further debug. ๐Ÿ™‚

    Thank you!

It’s just not possible to disable all the existing plugins on a live site. I may consider duplicating the site and testing on a sandbox site, but the errors aren’t critical right now. It is probably related to the cache plugin, but the site is blazing fast, and that’s more important right now.

Any reason for the odd bit of shortcode appearing at the bottom of the home page?

    Hi There,

    Please check this thread:https://community.theme.co/forums/topic/shortcode-cs_content-cs_content-is-showing-up-on-pages/

You will need to update Cornerstone to at least 1.2.1 to ensure [cs_content] isnโ€™t visible.

    Always,
    X

Cornerstone is currently at 1.2.0 in my installation, and is NOT showing there is an upgrade available.

Where can i download Cornerstone 1.2.1?

Actually I see Cornerstone is now at 1.2.3. Why isn’t the dashboard showing an upgrade is available? Shouldn’t you be pushing it out to existing X theme users?
