    Hi:
    My site – whidbeycamanoislands.com is down, and I’m getting an error 500. I enabled debugging mode and get the following:

    The site, which you all host, went down when I was trying to return to the Theme X child theme from the default (was testing plugin issues).

    Going to the default theme and back produced a request to proved the Cornerstone plug-in code. When I got one (long story, I think I now own four licenses for this one site) I couldn’t get to where I could input the code. I deactivated the plug-in and I think that’s where the site went down.

    Can you help?
    All pages are down, including the back end. FTP is still available.

    Hi There,

    Thanks for writing in! Please provide us FTP credentials in private reply, so we can take a closer look.

    In the meantime please contact your hosting provider on this particular issue, to hear what they say. Typically, Error 500 is due to server configuration problems (i.e. underpowered, traceroute issues, packet loss, permissions errors, et cetera). Additionally, your host will be able to diagnose things much better due to the fact that they have a more complete view of your account and can work behind the scenes with you. If the problem you are experiencing persists after working with your host, don’t hesitate to let us know and we will be happy to assist you. Any relevant information that you can share with us from your host is also greatly appreciated as it will help us to better ascertain the source of the problem.

    I also activated the Cornerstone plugin.

    Thanks for updating in! We just have to reactivate X theme and Cornerstone and it resolves the issue.
