I’ve got a form working perfectly on desktop, but file/image uploads fail on mobile: https://cutterpunk.com/custom-ornament/

The thumbnail appears, but attempting to move to the next step highlights the upload box in red as if it’s failed validation.

Selecting multiple files also breaks and only one file is uploaded, however I can tap in the whitespace to add subsequent files.

On mobile, an ‘X’ icon is placed over the image thumbnail (in addition to the standard one on the upper-right). Tapping the centered X returns an error in the tooltip that reads “Server responded with 0 code.”

The same behavior occurs on iOS and Android, Safari and Chrome. And again, this is all flawless on desktop.

Any suggestions on things to try to make this work would be much appreciated!

FYI, I inserted the form shortcode in a non-Cornerstone-managed page and while adding multiple files is still broken, the files are at least attached to the order and the user can now proceed past that step in the process. Definitely an improvement, at least.

Now, I realize the “Succeed” text is displayed prior to transferring to PayPal for payment…

I know this isn’t a plugin developed by Theme.co, but it could really use some QA love… especially given other people apparently pay $30 for it.

    Hi Darrel,

I made some testing on your form using my mobile and it is working. I am able to upload multiple files. Then I saw that you’re using Stripe Payment and not Paypal. I did submit using Test CC and it works. See attached screenshots.

*nod* I switched from PayPal to Stripe because of the success message being displayed prior to the PayPal redirect.

I can upload files on mobile one at a time, but not as a group. That’s fine… text can instruct the user.

Now if I can solve the issue with the automatic scrolling going past half the content on mobile, I’ll be in business. Probably will end up on Shopify or WooCommerce, though, as a result of all this grief.

Is there a proper place to file bug reports for this plugin? I’m happy to write test cases. The developer seems to not care about incompatibilities between plugins, but I’m a big fan of integration testing.

    Hi there,

You can always report them here in the forum and we can use them as a reference for investigation. I’m not saying we can fix them since they are bundled or 3rd party plugins, at least we can use them to contact the plugin author.

Would you mind providing a video recording for scrolling issue?

    Thanks!
