I’m having an issue with the Envira Gallery extension.
I set it up with most of the basic settings as described on the KB for setting up a gallery. But when I load the page, the thumbnails show up but nothing else happens when I click the thumbnail. No light box or anything.

I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

The issue was that when I inserted the images from my Media Library, the “URL” field was empty. When I clicked on the “Media File” button in the gallery editor (dialog after clicking on the thumbnail), the new URL was placed and allowed the thumbnail to work.
My only follow up question is that, I thought the extension was the full version of the plugin from each plugin author. Why can I not select any of the other “gallery types” that are advertised other than the “Default” type?

Thanks.
March 29, 2016 at 9:58 pm #857921Okay, so by unlocking the settings and purchasing a license of the plugin using:
function x_envira_gallery_remove_license_functionality() { return true; }
Then I’ll be able to use different setups such as pagination?
March 30, 2016 at 12:21 am #858130Hi there,
Thanks for updating the thread! You can try adding it back without the license. I believe there will just be a notification to get a license. If you already have one, you can use it. Regarding your pagination query, if it’s part of the default functionality it should be present. However, we did modify the plugin to work with X more seamlessly. We can’t guarantee that it will work smoothly, (there shouldn’t be an issue in most cases) it would just depend on your specific setup.
Hope this helps clarify – thanks!
March 30, 2016 at 10:09 am #858865I was able to add that function into the child theme to re-enable the rest of the plugin. When I purchased the Silver level of access, all I had to do was add my key and I had instant access to their add-ons for the gallery. Works great with the X-Theme still.
Only minor bug is that in the pagination add-on, my entire page refreshes when I click on the next page. I’ll post the fix here when I figure that out.
March 30, 2016 at 7:04 pm #859754Hello There,
Thanks for letting us know.
Regarding the pagination, the page will always refresh when you go to the next page. That is how it works as shown in their demo site which you can check it here: http://enviragallery.com/addons/pagination-addon/
Hope this helps.
