The embedded youtube video has no full screen button or youtube link button available.
Also, most everything on the page is responsive except for the video.
December 22, 2015 at 10:40 pm #718277Hello Peter,
That is coming from Youtube. X just use youtube iframe embedded code. Unfortunately, we have no control on how it handles it’s fullscreen button or how the video was render. As you can see when you play the video, it display the fullscreen button on rightmost part but not as visible:http://screencast-o-matic.com/watch/col0fgh47f
Always,
XDecember 23, 2015 at 3:59 pm #719277I am not sure how you got the video to go full screen. I have tried hovering and clicking all around the (small) video and it will not go full screen. If I click on “The Northwest 45 Story”, it will go to the youtube page. I have tried embedding the video in a text element, a raw content element and embed it in a sidebar widget. All with the same result.
When I first load the page and click the video start arrow, the full screen, settings and CC icons flash for an instant, then disappear.
UPDATE: I normally use Firefox and hovering over the corner does not produce the Full Screen option. Loading the page in Edge and Chrome does show the full screen when you hover.
This still does not solve the problem. Even a site visitor is using Chrome or Edge, how are they supposed to know to move their cursor around the lower right corner to find the Full Screen option. It is like working in the dark.
December 23, 2015 at 7:02 pm #719575Hi there,
Youtube player is setup like that, a fullscreen option is only active for a video that’s about 330px width. And your video’s current size is too small. Unfortunately, we don’t have control over this. The video and player is hosted from youtube server.
Thanks.
