    Hello,

Im trying to embed a custom map with custom markers on my site but cant get to know how to choose the location i want to show or the markers. Is there any tutorial on this? I just checked the Integrity map features and the most I can to is insert the New York map on it (I need Barcelona).
Can you give me some light?

    Hi there,

Please check this link to know how to find coordinates of a location : https://support.google.com/maps/answer/18539?source=gsearch&hl=en

Then use X’s google map shortcode (http://theme.co/x/demo/integrity/1/shortcodes/map/) to display it.

    Hope that helps.

    Thank you,

That helped, but as I am trying to place a map with markers, the [google_map] code is apparently not working, when i place it on the ´´embeded code box, nothing happens.

    Thanks

    Hello There,

You not suppose to insert the Google map shortcode inside the map embed element. Please follow the steps to display it proeprly

1] You can make use of the Google map element.
2] Find the coordinates of Barcelona here: https://www.google.com.ph/maps/place/Barcelona,+Spain/@41.39479,2.1487679,12z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m2!3m1!1s0x12a49816718e30e5:0x44b0fb3d4f47660a
3] Go back to your Google map element and insert the coordinates.
4] Add a Map Marker and insert the same coordinates of Barcelona.

Hope this helps. Kindly let us know.

    Hello,

    It helped a lot, thanks!

Now, how can I enable markers to be clicked and take the user to a certain part of the webpage down bellow that explains what the marker is?

    Hi there,

Unfortunately the Map Marker info attribute does not accept HTML so you cannot add a link to the popup. It is technically possible however, that would need modifying the function of our Map shortcode. Regretfully, that falls beyond the scope of our support.

The best way for this that is good for User Experience in my opinion is to just add a link at the bottom of the Google Map. That way, your users will see clearly what they have to do in case they need more information.
