    Hi there,

    I’m fairly new to x theme, I’ve been editing a site using the customiser but figured it’s probably best practice to utilise the child theme. Do I just copy and paste the custom CSS and export the customiser settings to the new child theme in the editor-style.css. once it’s installed?

    Also (after it’s installed) do I then carry on adding CSS into the editor-style.css. file or continue to use the customiser?

    Hello There,

    Thanks for writing in!

    When you install child theme all CSS codes should be placed inside style.css file. You can use customizer to add new custom css codes but we highly recommend your customer to place custom css codes inside child theme.
