    Hi, is x theme fully compatible with Easy digital downloads and the EDD Free Downloads extension? thanks
    I have searched but the threads seems to suggest not and issues.

    You may try using Easy Digital Downloads, but we cannot guarantee its compatibility as it’s a 3rd party plugin and we do not provide support for 3rd party plugins.

    As long the Easy digital downloads properly adhere WordPress coding standards, it should work. We recommend you to setup a test environment and test the plugin functionality before deploying on production environment.
