msasinskiParticipantHello,
Dropcap shortcode looks nice. I would like to use it. Problem is that “drop capped” letter is not transported to RSS feed or excerpt on facebook. Is it possible to fix this?
Please take a look at recent post:
http://www.123office.pl/2017/02/office-lens-skanowanie-telefonem.html
and feed:
http://feeds.feedburner.com/123Office
“N” was not transported do feed.
thank you,

RupokMemberHi there,
RSS not supposed to show such styling rather simple plain text. The Feed style couldn’t be controlled with theme.
Hope this makes sense.

msasinskiParticipantMaybe I’ve said it wrong way. I do not want this “N” to be big and red in RSS feed. I want to be there at all, because it is missing.
At this point I can publish without dropcap, so it is published to facebook and RSS, and add it minute later so it is visible on blog.March 1, 2017 at 4:53 am #1390049
LelyModeratorHi There,
Thank you for the clarification.
This is how RSS feed works by default and it is not a theme issue. RSS feed doesn’t include shortcode or stripping HTML entities. Same with excerpt where html entities are being remove. See this:https://community.theme.co/forums/topic/dropcap-missing-from-excerpts/#post-201655March 1, 2017 at 8:24 am #1390316
msasinskiParticipantSooo this Drop Cap is pretty useless if someone is using RSS?

RupokMemberHi there,
You can try using custom excerpt within excerpt field.
Thanks!
