On top of this landing page (http://kairoicarelogic.com/yes/) there is a revolution slider. I would like the slider to have one of those down arrow buttons that scroll down to the next content band.

how do I do that ?

    (see an example here – http://www.apollofotografie.com )

    Hi Jonathon,

Thanks for writing in. You can check the “Enable Scroll Bottom Anchor” and set the alignment to “bottom center” (see the bottom part of: http://prntscr.com/5msuvr)

Also I noticed that you are not using the latest version of X and X shortcodes. It would be best to update your site to the latest versions. But before doing so please backup your site as there are several structural and styling changes that were implemented to prepare for future developments. It may even be best to duplicate your site to a development/staging site or local server and first do the updates there and see what needs adjusting before doing it on the live site.

Hope this helps! Happy New Year!

    Hi,

I’m so happpy to have found this functionality now! The only problem is that its appearing below the fold on certain screen sizes 🙁 Is there a way to have it appear at say 2% from the bottom and then stay at the bottom of the slider once you scroll past it?

    Thanks 🙂

    Hi Amma,

    Thanks for writing in!

Upon checking, the button is appearing just fine at my end (see: http://prntscr.com/6r4asj). However, if you are testing on different screen sizes, this could be an issue because your slider isn’t fullscreen so its size is not adjusted automatically while resizing the window (except the auto responsiveness).

So you may want to use fullscreen slider instead of auto responsive with .masthead as your slider’s offset container (see: http://prntscr.com/6r4bxd).

    Thanks!

Thanks very much. I’ve tried this and it certainly puts the scroll button in the right place, however it also shortens the height of the slider and now on some screen sizes, half the picture gets cut off 🙁

I actually had it as full width before where the button being below the fold is more of an issue (and how we usually have it set). I’ve changed it back to that now so you can see.

Is there any way to just have it floating at the bottom of the screen until you’ve gone past the slider?

    Thanks

    Hi,

I have check again and your slider is resizing fine at my end.

You need to check at your end if it’s working after you have cleared your browser cache and plugin cache(if applicable).

    Please let us know.

    Thanks

    Hi Amma,

    Thanks for writing in!

Regretfully this isn’t possible out of the box. It could be possible with some JavaScript and CSS customizations, but this would be outside the scope of support we can offer. You may wish to consult a developer to assist you with this. X is quite extensible with child themes, so there are plenty of possibilities.

    Thanks for understanding. Take care!

Thanks for writing in! Regretfully, at this time I am not entirely certain what it is you would like to accomplish based on the information given in your post. If you wouldn’t mind providing us with a little more clarification on what it is you’re wanting to do (a link to a similar example site would be very helpful, or perhaps some screenshots), we’ll be happy to provide you with a response once we have a better understanding of the situation.
