saskiaParticipantHi there,
I am busy developing a site in 3 languages, the parent language is Dutch, and the other languages English and Arabic.
I read a lot of forum posts about translating and using wpml plugin and have a few questions before i start translating:
1. My wordpress dashboard does not need translation, just the frontend (menu’s buttons text) of the website. Do I need wpml for that or is copying an existing page template in Cornerstone and changing the language manually a solution too?
2. Do I need WMPL at all?
3. How do I set up a ‘choose language button’ in the top bar?
3. Does wpml make everything RTL when translating it to Arabic, or do I need to setup something else in my childtheme if I am nog using wpml?
4. If I do purchase WPML can I still use Cornerstone? I read some threads about it, and it is not clear to me what the solution is or if Cornerstone and wpml is a stable combination at the moment.
A lot of questions, hope you can help me because I am confused in what to use for multiple languages on the website. Thanks a lot, kind regards Saskia

saskiaParticipantHi Rupok, thanks for the response
I used poedit for some Dutch translations of the theme and works fine. I am just a bit worried about the rtl pages. I will start with wpml, and if I experience troubles I will check in again. have a nice day, kind regards SaskiaMay 13, 2016 at 3:31 am #989321
