Archive / disable customizer auto save?

    Hi,

    I am having problems with the customizer on my host site5. While working in the customizer, the server stops responding. When reloading the page I get: Service Temporarily Unavailable.

    I contacted site5 support and in the log files they see I hit the maximum of 3 concurrent php processes.

    It might be because of the auto save functionality in customizer. Is it possible to disable it?

    Hey Wouter,

    There is no autosave feature in the Customizer. Did you increase your server memory settings already? If not, please tell your host to increase it for you.

    I mean the behaviour that when I change something in the customizer, I see the results in a few seconds without having to save the settings. I only have server problems when I use the customizer.

    Hey Wouter,

    the customizer is not saving this, just previewing it. This is a native function and we can’t prevent this from happening since that’s our idea of the live preview.
