My site: http://hitsheets.com
I’m trying to see if i can disable animation layers for Revolution Slides.
Basically, I just want the text layers i have to immediately Appear, and to stay.If that is not possible, then is there a way to disable the End Transitions so my text layers can stay throughout? I noticed you have that using your Integrity main theme — the text stays throughtout the background video.
Thanks.
August 8, 2015 at 9:12 pm #353922Nevermind. Just figured it out by going through the Rev Slider 4.0 documentation.
For those wondering how to do it:
*****Note: Im using only 1 slider page, so i wanted the text/image/logo layers to stay throughout***
1. You have to enable “Static Layers” (under Revolution Slider > General Settings > Enable Static Layers > On)
2. Go to Layers List > A new option in grey titled “Edit Static/Global Layers” will appear
3. In the new “Edit Static/Global Layers” option, it looks just like the regular Global options list, but with options to select which slides will the “Static Layers” appear in.
4. Also, under Layer Animation > Start Transition, set the Animation to “Fade” and Start Duration to 1 ms (you can customize this if you want a fade-in option).
5. Finally, in the Layers Timing and Sorting Option, it doesnt matter what your “End” time is (in milliseconds). As long as your layer appears (via your own “Start” time), it will stay throughout the layer, until whatever layer you dont want it to end anymore.
Hope this helps.

We are glad you’ve figured out a way to resolve your issue.
Thanks for letting us know!We are very please for sharing how you resolve it. This is something that other X users could possibly help in setting up their slider animation settings.

December 7, 2015 at 10:34 am #695666I have Slider Revolution version 5.1.4 installed. It comes with X themes. Apparently, Step 1 is no longer valid. I am unable to find the static page.
December 7, 2015 at 10:42 am #695677I managed to find it.
Click on Slider Revolution –> Slide Editor –> Static/Global Layers
Click on Static Layers.
Any Layers created here will be present across all slides. Presto!

December 8, 2015 at 9:38 pm #698380Hello everyone, can you please tell me if this “static” text is available in LayerSlider? This is the new slider extension that themeco is offering for our most current 2015 update. Thanks so much for your help. I would like to have my 1st slider appear with the text already on the screen with the image.
December 9, 2015 at 12:40 am #698594Hi,
Regretfully, static text isn’t a feature of layer slider.
It could be possible with custom development, but this would be outside the scope of support we can offer. You may wish to consult a developer to assist you with this. X is quite extensible with child themes, so there are plenty of possibilities. Thanks for understanding. Take care!
