Hello,
I have looked through as much of the forum as I can to try to figure this out, but I haven’t been able to. I have built one website with X Theme and am attempting another one. I am trying to create a slider with the fonts used by the person who made my original site. The two fonts are Britannic Bold and Perpetua. I found a Google font similar to Perpetua, but not Britannic Bold. Here is the link to my current website http://www.robkellymassage.com. I found some custom CSS to change the font to look like Britannic Bold, but that makes it all of the same font. I need the slider to be two different fonts. Is that possible?
Thanks for your help,
Rob

Would you mind specifying which google font you are trying to use.
In the revolution slider settings, the ROB KELLY text is set to Federo font but it get’s overridden by the code in the customizer:
.tp-caption { font-family: 'LTC-Globe-Gothic' !important; }
December 16, 2016 at 11:44 am #1295803Hello,
I would love to use a google font, but none seemed similar to Brittanic Bold. I found LTC-Globe Gothic to be the closest to Brittanic Bold and used the Typekit plugin to get that. I then found that I could use Custom CSS to get that font into the slider.
Thanks,
Rob

December 16, 2016 at 1:46 pm #1295905I am not sure if you understood my first question. I would like to use two different fonts on the slider. Right now I only have one.
December 16, 2016 at 4:07 pm #1296048Hi there,
So would you mind mentioning the other font that you are trying to use on the slider?
Currently, the fonts use in the slider are Open Sans and LTC-Globe-Gothic.
If you could provide us the font you want to use, we can then give you some suggestion on how to use it in the slider.
Thanks!
December 16, 2016 at 4:35 pm #1296076Hello,
I would like to use Britannic Bold and Perpetua because they are used on my website and business cards. I cannot find any Google fonts similar to Britannic Bold, although I found that Sorts Mill Goudy is similar to Perpetua. I found LTC-Globe Gothic on Typekit. It was a similar font to Britannic Bold on Typekit, so I added that and then wrote some Custom CSS to have that font appear on the slider. I would like to use two different fonts on the slider, right now the Custom CSS is only allowing one font to be used. I added an image of the topbar I currently have on my website with both of the fonts I would like to use.
Thanks,
Rob
December 16, 2016 at 5:15 pm #1296105Hi Rob,
The custom CSS you have added will take effect on all the text layers on the slider. What you can do instead is to remove the CSS code, select each layer then place the font name you want to use for each layer through the Rev Slider font settings.
Hope this helps.

December 16, 2016 at 6:23 pm #1296169Hi there,
You can always manually type in the font in the font-family field in Revolution Slider ever if it is not a Google Font. The font should be loaded in the frontend when you view the layer. I’ve done it for the word massage.
Hope this helps.
December 17, 2016 at 6:00 am #1296521Hi Jade,
Thank you, it worked. I wish that was written in the slider directions. I have spent hours trying to figure this out.
Thanks again,
Rob
