Hi i am seeing Diamonds with question mark after migration from local host to live server – can someone help please? You can see example on link below. regards, Matt
May 8, 2016 at 9:21 pm #981579Hello There,
Thanks for writing in! The diamond character symbolizes an unreadable character which is supposed to be an apostrophe. What I could suggest in order to get rid of this is to install a 3rd party plugin, Search and Replace. You can do a search and replace for this said character. I wanted to login to your site to save your from trouble but there was no login credentials given in your previous other threads.
If you have difficulty is getting rid of it, would you mind providing us the url of your site with login credentials?
Thank you.

May 9, 2016 at 11:11 am #982514Hi there,
The setting that needs to be changed is found in the database. If you’re not able to make the changes on your own, kindly provide us with the login access to your database/phpMyAdmin.
Thank you.

The above credentials are for FTP access. Do you have access to database? If not you can ask those details from your hosting provider.
Thanks!

I did checked the site, the site is running in PHP 5.4, WP needs PHP 5.6 or higher.
The minimal requirements to run WP are listed here: https://wordpress.org/about/requirements/You’ll need to contact your webhost for help, because Php 5.4 is End Of Life (http://php.net/eol.php).
Check your local setup if what php version it is running, and update the live to that version.
Hope it helps, Cheers!
