I find the demo download very helpful but sometimes i see a website that i want to copy style but find only parts in one demo and parts in another. (the demos are so large for my small websites)

For example i want to try and copy the beginning of this website where the picture is scrolled over. (still have trouble understanding, setting up and using Parallax)

any suggestions please.

Also is there some information on the different themeco template pages and blocks (very very useful) video or documentation explaining them all?

Hi there,

Thanks for writing in! Is that your website? In that case you can save a particular page as Cornerstone template and import it to your website.

To do this :

1. Click on Templates on your Cornerstone editor – http://prntscr.com/8rlr3k

2. Click Save to save the page as template – http://prntscr.com/8rlreo

3. Click Upload and upload the downloaded template to another site you want to use the page.

If you want to import a part of a demo then you can import the whole demo to a localhost or staging site and then save the page(s) with above procedure.

Hi there,

Thanks for writing back!

You could replicate this with the Revolution Slider add-on and then set it in Cornerstone > settings to show below masthead. Or you could set a background image in a section with parallax set to on in inspector with a text element overlaying it.

There isn’t currently a video or document explaining about the demos, there is a doc about demos, but it doesn’t break each demo down piece by piece: https://community.theme.co/kb/demo-content/

Though it’s a great suggestion and something we’ll consider for the future. 🙂
