Hello,

I’ve just bought the Theme and I am regretting it already.

What I wanted to get was the Ethos 1, just like this : http://demo.theme.co/ethos-1/

What I am getting as a template is this what’s attached.

I thought it would be easy to use, I see it very complicated for the moment, I can’t find anything.

Hello Ludovic,

Thanks for writing in! Note that the standard demos contains the layout of homepage and in addition the portfolio and post placeholders. So you won’t get any page with standard demos.

Only Expanded demos include things like images, pages and all the “done for you things”. So if you are looking for a complete demo with pages then you can choose any of our expanded demo.

That’s not fair, I thought I had bought everything. I paid 80 USD with taxes, that’s a lot for me.

How much is the expanded demo ? How can I get it ?

I’ve just seen again your website. The one I want with all the work done is part of the standard, not the expanded. the one I want with photos and all is : http://demo.theme.co/ethos-1/.

How can I get everything without having to pay extra ?

Hi Ludovic,

Hope you’re having a good day, I think with all of the standard demo the Ethos 1 is the easiest to have. You don’t even need to edit its home page (because that would require a custom development). All the images you see on that page is a Featured Image that is set on each blog posts, no image there that was put directly to that page.

In order to easily understand how Ethos 1 works, please create 5 – 10 dummy posts with Featured Images. And then read this post: https://community.theme.co/forums/topic/ethos-1-demo-template-category-filter-not-working/?replyto=1084154#post-1084504

I need to clarify something here, on your screenshot I see [vc_column_text] shortcode. The Ethos demo 1 does not have that content, and our demos now are built in Cornerstone so we should not see a [vc_column_text] shortcode or such on the demo page, so where did you get your template?
