Armen TParticipantI’m just trying to come to grips with the theme and how everything works, and I was delighted to see that you’ve provided the content for the home pages seen in the demos.
I am just playing around with Integrity 1 and I’m wondering about a couple of things:
1. The content area is white. Shouldn’t it be transparent and showing the the chosen background selected in Customizer?
2. It doesn’t include the video background because that’s to do with the Slider, correct?
I may have a couple of other queries as I work through this, but that’ll do for now 🙂

KoryKeymasterHey Armen,
Thanks for writing in! I’ll address your points one by one.
1. For all of our homepage designs, we use the Blank – No Container | Header, Footer page template found under Page Attributes in the sidebar of the page you’re editing. This allows for a completely blank slate in creating your homepage designs and to allow certain shortcodes like the [content_band] to go fullwidth. It sounds like you might have the Default Template selected instead. Ensure that the correct template is selected and everything should work fine. If that isn’t the problem you’re running into, write back and we’ll be happy to get to the bottom of it with you.
2. Correct, the video background is being used with the slider and the slider is placed before all content (all of these options are handled in the Customizer). However, you can also use a video background with the [content_band] shortcode, like so:
[content_band bg_video="http://domain.com/yourvideo.mp4"]
Take note that only one background video can be used on a page at any given time (that is between all instances of your sliders, content bands, et cetera).
Let us know if this answers your questions. Please don’t hesitate to let us know if you need any further assistance.
Thanks!

Armen TParticipantA few more questions, my friend.
1. Is it possible to have a third menu? I’ve got a header and footer menu, but I have a few pages where I’d like a menu on the left, similar to the menu you have here for your ‘Resources/Support’. Will I have to hard code it, or is there another way to build a menu?
2. I also love the layout here: http://theme.co/x/member/video-tutorials/
How do you achieve that with X? I’ve been through every homepage demo to see if there’s something similar I can get the demo code from, but there isn’t anything.3. What is the headline font you’re using here: http://theme.co/x/
Also, how do you get the underline with the icon in the middle below each headline? That’s all for now, I think 🙂

RubinKeymasterHey,
1. You can use a sidebar as menu bar. Simply select a page template with a sidebar right or sidebar left and then go into the widget section and use the widget called “Custom Menu” this widget lets you choose the menu you want to display.
2. Our Members Area is custom built so rebuilding this look require need custom styling.
3. The font used is called “Lato” you can select it in the customizer.
If you have any additional questions feel free to get in touch with us!

Armen TParticipant1. That’s makes the menu site wide (which I don’t want). But, that’s okay. I should be able to use the Widget Context plugin to place it where I want.
2. Okay.
3. Perfect.
Thank you!

KoryKeymasterArmen,
You can create unique sidebars for certain pages in your theme by going to Appearance > Sidebars. This way you can set a menu to only a particular page, or set of pages if you want.
