    Hello,

    I have recently purchased the x theme and installed it, then carried out all that seems to be required to install the demo content (Ethos1 chosen), but there is still no demo content on the site. There is the x-demo-content.xml file included in the downloaded zip file, but seemingly no way to upload it via wordpress except through Tools > WordPress importer – and I have subsequently tried this but still not working.

    Can you assist please?

    Hi there,

    Would you mind providing us with login credentials so we can take a closer look? To do this, you can make a post with the following info:

    – Link to your site
    – WordPress Admin username / password
    – FTP credentials

    Hi Robin,

    Thank you for the credentials. To install child theme, please go to Addons > Under Demo Content Dropdown Choose Ethos 1 >Click Setup Demo content. No need to upload it.

    Hi again,

    Just that my original request was for assistance with demo content. Can you let me know where I have gone wrong? The wp and ftp credentials I think are now correct, so would appreciate your help with this.

    Hi there,

    There are two kinds of demos, standard and expanded. It’s the expanded that demo that has complete import. While standard demo import only contains placeholders, structure, and styling. You’ll have to fill it with your own content. Example, the top one is the carousel, but your site doesn’t have any assigned post for the carousel yet.
